Regine has left for the states kanina...waaahh...i'm soooo sad! kasi naman she'll be gone for a month.isipin ko lang na wala sya dito sa pilipinas kalungkot na yun ha!!! wala na namang buhay ang sunday ko!!!

The Crazy things I do for Regine...

I already lost count of the crazy things i did for the songbird. It's super funny coz never did i imagine myself doing those things...ako pa!!! E sa totoo lang mahiyain ako (di lang halata! hehe!!!).
Pero pinaka-memorable na siguro sa akin was when I waited for her during the Star Awards for TV. I was soaking wet because towards the end of the show therain poured! Malas kasi i wan;t able to get in the theatre kaya sabi ko i'll just wait for her outside. Nakita ko kasi yung reg222 kaya ang ginawa ko, i stood beside the car and patiently waited for her kahit nanginginig na ko! hehe!!! when she finally went out...wala rin akong nagawa...i just stared at her.yun lang!!! kasi nga na-starstruck ako!!!she did look my way, tapos nag-smile sya, nag-smile na lang din ako!


At hindi pa natatapos dyan...i had a chance to meet up with other reginians na naging friend ko a couple of days ago, and one of them had a car,naisipan ba naman mag-joyride at puntahan daw namin yung billboard ni regine sa may sucat!!! hahaha!!! para kaming mga CRA..ay hindi pala "parang"...CRA na talaga kami!!! we we're all screaming inside the car at di pa kami nakuntento, huminto pa talaga kami at tinitigan yung billboard ng mag 15 minutes...hahaha!!!

How it all began.....

i've been a reginian for god knows how long...pero ngayon lang yata ako naging ganito ka-addict sa kanya!!! grabe...i still remember during my younger days (hey, i'm only 20 years old ha!) i'd ask my mom to buy minus one tapes of regine's albums and then pag-aaralan ko talaga yung song. tapos 'pag memorize ko na yung kanta, i'd gather all my playmates sa house namin, aakyat ako sa dining table at kakanta!! funny noh?!!! pero ganun talaga ako...sabi ko kasi sa sarili ko, i wanna be like her someday...gusto ko ring maging kasing galing nya ako!!( di naman ako matayog mangarap nyan?!) hehe!!! super idol ko na sya pero slight pa lang...nakukuntento na ako ng panuod-nuod ng shows nya sa TV, i'd make it a point na mapanood ko kapag tinelevise yung mga shows or concerts nya, at syempre kulang na lang ay gawing national anthem sa bahay namin ang mga songs nya!!!pero unang beses ko talaga syang nakita or napanood sa isang show is during her free anniversary show at the UP sunken garden. i think i was about 9 years old then. hindi ko tinantanan yung auntie ko na nakatira near UPD at talaga namang kinaladkad ko sya papunta dun...we were all soaking wet pero ok lang, napanood ko naman si songbird ng LIVE!!! i couldn't explain nga what i felt that time...parang panaginip..i was just staring at her while she was singing...watching her every move.
nagsimula lang naman ang regine addiction ko nung mag-college ako, i became a member of the ever loyal Regine Velasquez Mailing List more popularly known as RVML. Yun ang naging turning point ng aking...(career? joke!) pagiging isang true blue reginian.
Nung una, pabasa-basa lang ng mag post. Later on natuto na rin akong mag-post at maki-interact sa ibang members. dami ko nalalaman about her and it feels good to actually know or meet other people who share the same interests as you! ang aking mga kapwa reginians.

it was recently lang when i got the chance to actually meet them in person. kapag nanunuod ako ng mag concerts, sila ang kasama ko.puro kami mga pasaway!!! hehehe!!! syempre dumami rin ang text mates at sasabog na ang inbox ng phone ko sa dami ng mga messages na pinapadala nila araw-araw..

at di pa ako nakuntento...bukod sa mailing list, nag-member din ako sa mga Forum at walang sawang nakikipag-chikahan sa mga kapwa ko adik!!!

Kulit noh?!!! hay...ewan ko ba kung anong meron si songbird at nagkakaganito kami...AKO, sa kanya! wala nang gamot dito!!!waaahhhh!!!!!!!!

Reigne For Life:

Last night was really incredible for me and the rest of the other RVMLers who watched the Reigne for Life repeat in Zirkho... grabe the show totally rocked and syempre the songbird as always gave a really good performance!! Even if the repertoire is almost the same (the song never too far was added and some songs by seals and crofts) all of us had a great time!!! especially during the request portion.. i think that was the best part of the whole show! Regine was really game that night and she even acknowledged the presence of the RVMLers!!! we were all in cloud 9. Much more she kept on looking at us!!! weee!!!! I even got the chance to dictate the lyrics and sing along with her coz she's not really familiar with some of the songs that were requested...:) Fresh pa nga sa memory ko, every little detail...... REQUEST PORTION (Cez, i think that's her name. Gave a piece of paper to the songbird.written on it was a request. Regine made a jok out of it) Regine : Ano 'to? (then she read what was written, i couldn't remember the title of the song though) naku, wala man lang naka-ipit kahit Bente pesos!! (crowd laughs) (Regine sang a few lines of the song) Then one of the girls from our group. Jen was her name, also requested a song and she gave 20 bucks!!! she even made a joke out of it... (can't remeber what she exactly said...) anyway, after that somebody gave P5,000...gosh we were all stunned, that girl was really super rich! Funny thing was Regine didn't know the song that the girl requested..."karma" by alicia keys. So the girl just ended up requesting "through the fire"..(and of course when regine sang it..we were all gripping the end of our seats!) Then somebody requested for the song "My immortal" by evanescence..(ito na yung moment ko!!!!) ..sabi ni regine... Regine: immortal, my immortal..ano to? (then we were telling her it's a song by evanescence...then i started singing the chorus...AND SHE LOOKED AT ME...AS IN EYE TO EYE CONTACT!!! she sang with me and she just followed what i ws saying...then i just dictated the lyrics to her. After that another person from the audience requested the song "how did you know"....it so happened that i was singing along too and when she forgot again the lyrics, she looked at me and followed what i was saying...waaahhhh!!!! i thought i was going to collapse because of so much excitement!!! hehehe!!! Anyway it doesn't end there... i also requested for her to sing the song "sa kanya" by ogie... here's what my note said.. (" since natulungan ko naman po kayo salyrics kahit papano..pwede po bang magrequest, just a few bars from the song "Sa Kanya"...dedicated to all RVMLers) ito ang sinabi nya... (I gave her the piece of paper...it was actually a receipt i found in my bag.wala kasing matinong paper eh..) Regine: o..tingnan mo tong tao na 'to...gusto pa ata akong pagbayarin ng bill nila.. Me: Hindi po ate...sa likod po.. Regine: ah....eto pala! (She read the note) Regine: Tingnan mo to, magrerequest ka wala namang kasamang pera..poor ka noh!! (she laughs) sasabihin mo pa na nakatulong ka sa lyrics...hmmm...to naman ba't kanta pa ni ogie... (the crowd teased her) Me: maganda po yung song eh... Regine: wala namang pera.. Me: estudyante lang po ako...(joke!) sa sweldo na lang!! Regine: sige antayin ko sa sweldo (she laughs) Then she sang the whole chorus of Sa kanya...pero binitin nya yung last line coz she said i wasn't able to give money...hahaha!!! After singing a few more songs...melissa (one of the members of RVML) gave the note to her! she read the note... Regine: T. Y. pls take care (heart) RVMLers...RVML...eeers..tama ba yun?!! rvmlers?!! (all of us in front of her knod!) Regine: Yan pong mga RVMLers, sila po yung...(she looks at us and then i tell her that we are members of the mailing list)...sila po yung sa mailing list...(i can't remeber anymore what she exactly said after this, basta all i know is that she acknowledged us. palakpak ang tenga naming lahat!!!) haaaayyyy....i'm just basing all of this from what i remembered, coz i was really hyperventilating that time...(masama akong na-eexcite!!). Basta the last thing i remember was when she sang SHINE...i dunno if melissa and the others noticed this pero when she sang the first chorus, she pointed at us and again and she looked at me...napansin namin yun ni Vida (she's also a reginian we met there). and we just looked at each other after that...we were like...AHHHHH!!!! When i got home...i couldn't sleep!!! I kept on replaying eveything in my mind...i couldn't get over the fact that Regine and I actually had a conversation!(parang ganun na rin yun di ba?!) It was more than what i asked for!!! Ok lang even if i wans't able to have a picture with her...siguro next time na lang....
